Meet the Team
Octane Raceway's dedicated crew is passionate about making sure your visit is memorable and fun! We work together every day behind the scenes, on the floor, and at the track with our guests to consistently provide the Ultimate Adrenaline Rush with highest level of service.
Andrea Henderson – Events Director
Andrea has been in the Hospitality Industry for 15 years. She has been with Octane Raceway since 2005 and is the Director of Events. From start to finish she makes sure that the "WOW" factor is her #1 Priority. She became a proud mother of a beautiful baby girl this year, and plans to show her all about fast cars, rumbling motorcycles and the joys of the great outdoors.
Darin Proszek – Corporate Sales Executive
Darin has been with Octane Raceway since 2004. He has been in corporate and groups sales for his entire tenure at Octane Raceway, however he has been known to make appearances as an event host or even put on his short shorts to work the track. Darin's favorite part of working at Octane Raceway is watching excitement in his client's face after a race. In his off time, Darin enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends watching his beloved Seahawks. Lucky for Darin, he is better at sales then the Seahawks will ever be.
James Gibbins - Marketing Manager
James is an Arizona State graduate who relocated to Arizona from England, and initially joined Octane Raceway at the beginning of 2010 as a marketing intern. Having successfully tackled several daunting and many technical tasks in short order, he joined the marketing team as full time assistant. After willingly jumping in and multi-tasking wherever possible, James was promoted to Marketing Manager in June 2011. In his down time, James enjoys golfing, football (Go Cardinals!!), and an occasional jaunt across the pond to visit his friends and family.
Randy Quismorio– Operations Manager
Randy began kart racing in Colorado in 1985, and karting has taken him all over the world from Hawaii to Florida, Germany to Italy. Upon winning "Rookie of the Year," he was accepted to race with IMI Motorsports factory team. Team owner Brad Linkus took Randy under his wing and taught him all aspects of the karting industry, where Randy was schooled in tuning, building, fabricating, marketing, promoting, managing, and business side of karting and his dream of becoming a track owner/operator began.
In June of 2003, Randy met Scott and was hired to get Octane Raceway's shop built, equipped, and our techs trained for the arrival of new fleet of Bowman karts. Randy's "M.O.", learned early in life, is: "Everything you do, you give 100% or don't do it. Everything you accomplish will have your signature on it". It's safe to say he's on the right track, with Octane Raceway's fleets of karts pushing over one million combined miles.
